GigaLine® – Fiber optic cable
The GigaLine® fiber optic cables from Kerpen Datacom are based on the latest OM5 multimode fiber technology. The sheath color of the GigaLine® inner cables is specially selected to reflect the respective fiber category for easy identification.
In addition, our “firesecured” universal cables offer a particularly high level of fire protection: they are tested in accordance with IEC 60331-25 and EN 50200 and guarantee reliable protection of the fibers even in the event of direct exposure to fire.

GigaLine® fiber optic cables

GigaLine® patch cables
connect individual sections or establish the connection to active components. A wide variety of connectors are available for fiber optic networks. We have all common connector types to choose from and only use products from well-known manufacturers. This ensures that the excellent transmission properties of our fiber optic cables are not impaired.
GigaLine® boxes and housings
form the end of a fiber optic transmission link. To ensure that everything fits perfectly, we use the same fiber qualities for the pigtails as for our cables. Our housings are made of metal so that the sensitive optical fibers are optimally protected. For 19” installation, we offer enclosures for fixed installation and those where the connection compartment can be pulled out. And if there is not enough space for a 19” rack, we also have space-saving wall distributors in our portfolio.
GigaLine® trunk cables
are our contribution to your efficient time planning. The cables are prepared ready for connection in specialized production facilities. We supply just-in-time, ready-to-connect cables that you simply insert into our GigaLine® housings and connect. The connectors are mounted directly on the fiber from the cable and are not spliced. This means that there is no additional attenuation and there are no interference points in the transmission path.
It goes without saying that we only supply you with laboratory-tested products, including a test report. Because quality is part of every project.
