Properties / Applications
Properties: The consolidation point housing CP12-B can accommodate up to 12 copper modules or fiber optic couplers. The robust housing is mounted directly on a flat surface or with the included clip on a 35mm DIN rail.
Application: The consolidation point is used in application-neutral cabling as a collection point between the floor distributor and the end point in order to react flexibly to changing requirements, e.g. in offices or sales rooms. The connection to the data outlet is made with flexible CP cables. Alternatively, the CP12-B can also be used as a distributor in SOHO applications. The strain relief of the incoming data cables is done with cable ties (not included in delivery).
Description
Consolidation Point housings are an efficient solution for highly flexible floor, data center or office cabling. The CP12-B enclosure is made of coated, galvanized sheet steel. The CP housing must be completed with a CPL12-B module strip for FO couplers or copper modules. It is recommended to install a CP12-B cover plate with brush strip to protect the mated connections.
