ON THE SAFE SIDE WITH FIRE PROTECTION CABLES

From July 1, 2017, power cables, control cables and communication cables intended for permanent installation in structures must be produced or assessed in accordance with the harmonized European standard hEN 50575 and bear a CE mark in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation EU 305/2011.

For cables and wires covered by the Construction Products Regulation, a Declaration of Performance (DoP) must be provided from 01.07.2017.

The Declaration of Performance declares the conformity of the construction product with the specified fire properties.
